ZZ Plant
The ZZ Plant stores water in thick underground rhizomes, which is why it shrugs off a forgotten watering schedule better than almost anything else we sell. Its glossy, dark leaves reflect what little light a north-facing apartment gets, so it actually looks better in a dim corner than most plants would.
Care at a glance
Water only when the soil is fully dry, about once a month. Toxic if ingested — not a good fit for a home with a chewing puppy.
