String of Pearls

Those round little beads are water storage, which means this one wants to dry out completely between waterings — the single most common way people lose it is watering on a schedule instead of watching the soil. Put it somewhere with real direct light, a bright south windowsill is ideal, and let the strands trail over the edge of a shelf.

Care at a glance

Water only when bone dry, about every 2 weeks. Toxic if ingested — keep the trailing strands away from cats.
