Calathea Orbifolia

Calatheas are worth the extra attention if you like a plant that actually moves — the leaves fold upward at night and open again in the morning. They're pickier about water quality than most (tap water with heavy chlorine can brown the tips) and want steady humidity, but they're fully non-toxic, so they're a good stretch project once you've kept easier plants alive.
